About Blueberry wine

Blueberry wine is a drink of our original recipe, which we produce from wild blueberries that have been frozen before fermentation (these are so-called lyophilizates). As a result, Blueberry wine has a higher sugar content and more pronounced flavor and tastes as if you were picking berries straight from the bush. Blueberry wine drinks well due to its higher sugar content, so we recommend sipping it rather than pouring it like a carbonated drink.

How to drink the wine

Drink the wine simply as you please. You can sip it all evening or savor it in sips over several days. And like red wine, Blueberry wine doesn't need refrigeration. Just store it at room temperature. But with a few ice cubes, it's pleasantly refreshing.

In winter, we can't resist the mulled version. Heat the Blueberry wine to about 60 degrees Celsius (when it starts to foam, don't let it boil!) and you have a perfect mulled wine. Just without cinnamon and cloves, the taste would be very unbalanced!

The wine perfectly complements the flavor of red meats (especially steaks), Emmental-type cheeses, fish, fried steaks, and cheesecakes. Blueberry wine will literally elevate your dinner to perfection.

Packaging, storage, and shelf life

Blueberry wine is bottled in a 0.75 l glass bottle. We use a high-quality cork as a closure. We recommend storing Blueberry wine in a cool, dark place - direct sunlight is not good for it. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of delivery. An opened bottle will keep for several days in the refrigerator, but once opened, we recommend drinking Blueberry wine the same evening to not miss out on all the wonderful flavors and aromas.
